Prompt: What is the most creative thing you have ever made? Share what it was and explain why it stands out as your best work.

Prompt Response: I enjoy a nerdy hobby called Dungeons and Dragons also known as D&D. The most creative thing I have ever made is the world I Game Master for my friends. I have created history, characters, missions, story arcs and etc for this game of make believe. I have spent nearly 7 years of my life in only one world, though now I'm expanding that horizon. Now I'm making another. My D&D worlds are the most creative thing I have ever made.

Summary: In class today we read "A Korean Dream" by Sharon Lee, and then we analyzed/discussed the text as a class. We then started working on our own Culture Poems.

Reflection: It was nice to go down memory lane about D&D and the countless hours I spent writing to entertain my friends. I have no doubt that story although not perfect gave us hours of entertainment and a life time of funny stories to tell.

Prompt: Pretend you are writing a blog entry as Celie; the moment you uncover the hidden letters. Describe what you would think, say, and do, and how this discovery would reshape how you see Mister and yourself. Reflect on why this moment would matter so much and how it would change your next choices.

In "The Lamb" and "The Tyger", both poems suggest that beauty and danger can come from the same source. Describe a time when something or someone you admired also scared or challenged you. How did that experience change the way you see the world or the idea of “goodness”?
