Prompt: Write about something that you wish you had more of.

Prompt Response: I wish I had more time in the day. I wish I could have an extra 3 hours in the day so I could sleep just a little longer. Or so I could enjoy my hobbies like lifting or hanging out with my friends. I could even be productive and work on my college essays. I will always take the opportunity to have more time in the day.

Summary: :In class today we allegedly had a quiz that Mr. Reese was talked out of with one sentence, so that was a win. We then worked on our cultural poems for the rest of class.

Reflection: In class I learned how natural incorporating literary devices into my poem can be. Literary languages doesn't have to be complicated to be effective.

Prompt: Pretend you are writing a blog entry as Celie; the moment you uncover the hidden letters. Describe what you would think, say, and do, and how this discovery would reshape how you see Mister and yourself. Reflect on why this moment would matter so much and how it would change your next choices.

In "The Lamb" and "The Tyger", both poems suggest that beauty and danger can come from the same source. Describe a time when something or someone you admired also scared or challenged you. How did that experience change the way you see the world or the idea of “goodness”?
