Prompt: Write about a time when you were judged unfairly.

Prompt Response: I remember when I slept during class a lot in eighth grade my teacher's assumed I was dumb. This was not the case, I was just bored and tired. It was one teacher specifically who thought I was cheating on his tests because I kept getting A's in his class (it was Georgia History). He thought this because I slept during his class. Meanwhile I did the work so I still knew what I was talking about.

Summary: Today in class we worked on the Common Lit assignment about morality.

Reflection: I don't tend to remember times when I've been judged unfairly I suppose unless its petty. I suppose I'm good at letting go of these memories or I'm forgetful. Either way it seems to benefit me.

Prompt: Pretend you are writing a blog entry as Celie; the moment you uncover the hidden letters. Describe what you would think, say, and do, and how this discovery would reshape how you see Mister and yourself. Reflect on why this moment would matter so much and how it would change your next choices.

In "The Lamb" and "The Tyger", both poems suggest that beauty and danger can come from the same source. Describe a time when something or someone you admired also scared or challenged you. How did that experience change the way you see the world or the idea of “goodness”?
