Prompt: Creating a video is more than just placing pictures together—it’s about capturing a feeling. Explain how you tried to bring your assigned letter to life in your Adobe Express video. What mood were you aiming for, and how did your editing choices help you communicate the message or emotion of the letter?

Prompt Response: I wanted the video to match what I was imagining in my mind when reading the story, so the bits where its just smoking with lines of dialog are what I envision while reading the story. I also wanted to bring some joy to my letter because for the most part its depressing so I added some humor to end off on.

Summary: In class we presented our videos while the class watched.

Reflection: I wanted my video to match the tone of the chapter as much as possible while adding some levity at the end. I am happy with how my video ended up but if we ever do something like this again there is much I want to improve on. For example my video ended abruptly, and steal some ideas from my classmates like reading the lines aloud.

Prompt: Pretend you are writing a blog entry as Celie; the moment you uncover the hidden letters. Describe what you would think, say, and do, and how this discovery would reshape how you see Mister and yourself. Reflect on why this moment would matter so much and how it would change your next choices.

In "The Lamb" and "The Tyger", both poems suggest that beauty and danger can come from the same source. Describe a time when something or someone you admired also scared or challenged you. How did that experience change the way you see the world or the idea of “goodness”?
