Prompt: Describe a real moment in your life that felt like the beginning of a powerful story. Tell what happened, and why it felt like a turning point in your life?

Prompt Response: I remember when I first moved out of my dad’s house back to my mom’s. This was essentially a fresh start and a remake of my character going into high school. There I promised myself to become more social and more comfortable in my own skin.

Summary: We listened to two more groups present their projects on Chapter 6 of Wild.

Reflection: You never know when something is going to be a new opportunity. Sometimes you have to take risks and step out of your comfort zone to make a leap. That leap can lead to the best things in life like making new friends and embracing adulthood.

Prompt: Pretend you are writing a blog entry as Celie; the moment you uncover the hidden letters. Describe what you would think, say, and do, and how this discovery would reshape how you see Mister and yourself. Reflect on why this moment would matter so much and how it would change your next choices.

In "The Lamb" and "The Tyger", both poems suggest that beauty and danger can come from the same source. Describe a time when something or someone you admired also scared or challenged you. How did that experience change the way you see the world or the idea of “goodness”?
