Prompt: If you could plan the perfect spring break with no limitation, money, time, or responsibilities—what would it look like? Where would you go, who would you bring, and what would you do?

Prompt Response: The perfect spring break trip for me would be a road trip with my girlfriend and I to various national parks. Just us and her car with everything we could fit. It would be peaceful, a way to get away from responsibilities for a bit.

Summary: In class  we worked on our common lit assignments.

Reflection: For me breaks or vacations mean relaxing which is something my dad didn’t understand when we traveled. Now that I’m getting to the age to travel of my own accord, I want vacations to be relaxing and exciting. I want to do things that make me feel happy and fulfilled, rather than just excited and stressed.

Prompt: Pretend you are writing a blog entry as Celie; the moment you uncover the hidden letters. Describe what you would think, say, and do, and how this discovery would reshape how you see Mister and yourself. Reflect on why this moment would matter so much and how it would change your next choices.

In "The Lamb" and "The Tyger", both poems suggest that beauty and danger can come from the same source. Describe a time when something or someone you admired also scared or challenged you. How did that experience change the way you see the world or the idea of “goodness”?
